We are passionate about food and believe that eating is the most authentic and fun way to explore a city. Eating is undoubtedly a manifestation of the culture of a people. In São Paulo, the food is the main attraction and practically paradise for those looking for gourmet tastes and experiences. Our favorite thing to do is figure out what's on the menu to be savored in São Paulo and our goal is to share these findings with the locals and with those visiting the city. Taste of São Paulo is a unique experience to exercise the five senses and take home a unique memory.

MEET OUR TEAM

Carolina Slemer
With a curious personality and fascination to discover new things, Carolina is a gourmet traveler and believes in experiencing each place she visits at a local level. Born in São Paulo, Carolina has had the opportunity to visit several countries and has had all kinds of experience abroad, whether working, studying or travelling. Carolina has spent some time in Australia, majored in hospitality and culinary, moved to the United States to take classes at the Culinary Institute of America and ended up staying at Walt Disney World for a few years planning corporate events, followed by two years in Florence, Italy, which only helped fuel her passion for eating well. Always acting as an unofficial hostess, giving friends tips on where to eat. Carolina saw the opportunity to combine passion and work together through Taste of São Paulo Food Tours.

Gabriela Slemer
Having moved around a lot throughout her life, Gabriela quickly fell in love with traveling, eating and discovering new cultures. Gabriela believes that there is nothing better than getting out to see the world for what it really is. Her family being divided in several parts of the world, allowed her to travel extensively, which only increased her curiosity to learn about new cultures and get into the the heart and soul of each city she visits. Born in São Paulo, Gabriela grew up in South Florida and has lived in London, England, Granada, Spain, and Florence, Italy. After obtaining a degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida, she is now living in Orlando, Florida, and doing what she loves and has always loved doing: traveling and helping others travel.
